CHARTERED ARCHITECT/ CO-DIRECTOR 

Archt. Rajiv Senanayake is a Fellow Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects. Beginning his career at Surath Wickramasinghe Associates, he was involved in the refurbishment of the Standard Chartered Bank, building projects for British American Tobacco , Valiant Towers, and the Police Stations at Kirulapone and Kataragama.

Furthering his training, Rajiv was part of the design team that developed several hospitals in Sri Lanka namely: Karapitiya, Galle and Nagoda. In addition he was part of the team that constructed the Orthopedic and Emergency ward for the National Hospital of Sri Lanka in collaboration with a donor organization from Finland.

​Later in his career, under the guidance of R.F Associates, he was a part of the design and management team for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank branch in Kandy and “Sahaspura” Sri Lanka’s first low-cost housing apartment complex by the Government of Sri Lanka.

As a co-director of DesignForum since the year 2000. Rajiv engaged in professional responsibilities in both local and overseas projects in India, Maldives, and Kenya. His detailed design focus ranges from personalized housing, Industrial and Commercial Buildings, boutique hotels, and innovative interiors for retail and commercial clients. Rajiv has ensured the corporate strength of DF, being responsible for maintaining a profound relationship with Vision care, Eyecare (Maldives), SLT Mobitel, CTC, Uniliver, Brandix, and CITI group during the last two decaades of the company’s growth.

CHARTERED ARCHITECT/ CO-DIRECTOR 

Archt. Lilantha Wijayapala is an Associate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects. He commenced his career at Surath Wickramasinghe Associates. He worked under the supervision of several leading architects and worked on projects that included renovations to the National hospital in Colombo, the stores complex for the National Hospital in Colombo, and design proposals for two major mixed development projects in Wellawatta and Panchikawatta.

 

Furthermore, working under Mihindu Keerthiratne Associates he was a key member of the design team for the Central Environmental Authority building; this was a world bank funded development project. In his long apprenticeship with Archt. Anura Ratnavibushana he developed his skills in residential architecture. 

 

As a co-director of DesignForum, he has completed customized villas for many clients. In addition, he has lead commercial projects including many DFCC bank branches, a refurbishment to Tangalle Bay hotel, a multi-story Factory in Chittagong Bangladesh. In addition his portfolio is inclusive of office Interiors designed for IBM, Marks & Spence, Codegen, Evergreen line, Hemas Holdings and ticketing office interiors for Emirates Airlines and Etihad airways.
